Aachen: The public transport system of the capital city


Aachen is the spa city of Germany at the foot of Eifel Tower and Ardennes Plateaus. The city was the favorite residence of Princess Charlemagne which was crowned as German king afterward. Aachen is also famous as a westernmost city of Germany and sharing borders with the Belgium and the Netherlands, 61 km from Cologne. The city is located near the former coal mining region which gave its importance in economic revival. Aachen also housed the world famous university named RWTH University. On the whole, Aachen is focused on high quality of living, science, engineering information technology, and related sectors.
