Festivals and Ceremonies in Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, Muslim festivals and ceremonies of events in the country’s history are observed as public holidays. The Islamic festivals are commemorated according to the Muslim lunar calendar and fall on different days each year on the western calendar. Secular holidays are celebrated according to the western calendar.
